Diveworks Dolphin and Seal Encounters

Swimming with Dolphins and Seals

Join us for a 3-4 hour tour to watch or swim with wild Dolphins and Seals. An adventure that many of our clients have called, "Our Best New Zealand experience"

During the New Zealand Summer usually from November to May,  1000s 0f Dolphins and other marine mammals including Whales and Pelagic fish visit our part of the Pacific ocean to join the already abundant marine life surrounding the geothermally warmed seafloor near the White Island volcano.  Nearby Moutohora Island aka Whale Island, a wild life sanctuary is home to a friendly breeding colony of native New Zealand fur seals called Kekeno who live there year round.

Our tours to watch or swim with the dolphins and seals operate once or twice daily usually between 0830 - 1230  or 1330 - 1730  hours, weather and passenger numbers permitting. (Note: hours and times can be subject to change to suit Tides etc.)
